Hazi A. K. Khan College is ragging free campus. Numbers of Anti-Ragging acts are in place to ensure strict compliances. The attention of the students is also drawn to the judgment of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India wherein it is mandatory for the institution to file a complaint with the Police Authority, and with all resulting consequences as per "The Circular of the Education Department, Government of West Bengal on Prohibition of Ragging in Colleges and Hostel." As per the UGC guidelines in curbing the menace of ragging in Higher Educational Institutions, the College has formed an Anti-ragging cell so as to provide a healthy environment to the students. A general declaration of ‘not involving into ragging’ is taken from the students. If any such situation still crops up, the students can contact to Dr. Piyali Dan, the Convener of the Anti-Ragging Cell.
